Char's Garden Cafe - Tagaytay

They have the best service and food They serve really fast the wait time is just enough before your 'hanger' kicks in the only con that i have regarding this place is the way of going there. we only walked going there and the way towards it is really dark. so you should use your flashlights so that you can be seen by the cars passing by. But besides that. everything inside is good. the ambience is peachy, the service is fast, and the food is oh soo good Going back to the food: the Kare Kareng bagnet is the best too. While waiting I tried their hot chocolate, and I loved it. it's not too creamy and not too chocolatey, it's just the perfect balance. Their sansrival cakes are just ok for me but thei blueberry cheesecake is whay I think is the best based on my taste test amongst the 4 flavors we ordered

This place is for keeps. Top prio resto whenever in Tagaytay. Food is perfect. Well seasoned and cooked. Original filipino taste. Serving proportions are overwhelming. Price is cheap. What more could you ask for?

Will be one of our top breakfast places here in Tagaytay. Absolute value for the price you pay, check photo to see serving plus menu - they’re generous! Our struggle has always been finding a coffee and silog place that actually opens early in the morning, happy to know they they’re open at 7:00 AM and actually accommodate guest at an earlier time and take advance orders. Plenty of parking space, love the ambiance. Staff are also nice. Comments on the silog is their rice isn’t the best, not actually fried rice and just with garlic sprinkled on top, but that’s ok since it helped me eat less rice as I’m trying to lose weight.

Our family had breakfast here to start our short getaway in Tagaytay. The ambience is very relaxing and welcoming. Their menu has a wide selection of Filipino comfort food, very family and group-friendly, and the taste lived up to our expectations. Since it's hard to choose my favorite dish, I'll just pick our group's favorite drink: Basil Lemonade, which we all couldn't stop talking about after our visit at the cafe. Above all, I think the highlight of the dining experience was how well we were treated by the staff. The service was exceptional. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can tell how genuinely they want to elevate our experience there. Thank you to Sir Sam, who welcomed us and helped us feel comfortable upon entering the place, considering we had a couple of elderly companions. He knows to anticipate our needs, and was extremely knowledgable about the menu. Kudos to the rest of the team for being consistently approachable and doing such a wonderful job in giving us an overall amazing experience. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved the food and the refreshing ambiance at this restaurant! The ginataang langka was exactly what I was craving and it did not disappoint. My kids also loved the lechon paksiw bagnet. Despite being informed that our food might take 25mins, it arrived much quicker, which was a pleasant surprise. Every dish we ordered was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Char Garden offers amazing food in a relaxing setting. Since it’s in Tagaytay, you also get to enjoy the cool weather, which adds to the overall experience. Parking is spacious and convenient, so that’s a big plus. I really enjoyed their lechon kawali and tapsilog — both were flavorful and satisfying. The wings weren’t quite to my taste, but there are plenty of other great dishes to try. Definitely worth a visit!

Char's Garden Café describe its place pretty well by name bc it is located inside a garden landscape with graveled parking areas. We had lunch on a Sunday, so it was very busy with quite a wait but understandable... Food was ok, and service isn't so bad either!

Char’s Garden Cafe is such a homey spot in Tagaytay. It’s perfect for chill brunches. We loved the tapsilog and bangsilog, but the surprise standout was the bulalo soup, super flavorful and comforting, especially on a rainy day. Prices are affordable but portions and quality are way above expectations. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
